Dr. Amin has been a dentist for over 22 years, he graduated from The University of Detroit. Dr. Amin is one of the most thorough dentists. He gives his undivided attention to all his patients while providing the best treatment that is available. In his spare time, he enjoys working on computers and technology related projects, and soccer. He has been married to Dr. Assar for over 21years and they share two girls who are 7 and 14.

Dr. Assar has been in the dental field for over 23 years. She is a current ADA (American dental association) member. Her passion with dentistry began as a child. She received her dental hygiene degree and then continued to on, to obtain her degree in dentistry in 1998. She takes pride in caring for her patients and making them feel comfortable. Her hobbies include reading and yoga.

Venice Diaz–Dental Hygienist (RDH)Venice has been a registered dental hygienist for 6 years and received her bachelor degree from The University of Detroit Mercy. She loves making an impact on others through dental hygiene and educating her patients on good oral hygiene. She is married to her best friend Jonathan and has two little girls, Hope and Avery. Venice loves traveling and trying new food. She plays tennis, likes to run, and enjoys being outdoors.

Megan Berghoef– Dental Hygienist (RDH)Megan graduated from Ferris State University and has been a registered dental hygienist for over 2 years. Her hobbies include working out and enjoying the outdoors. Megan recently married her soul mate, Jacob and they purchased their first home together in 2015.

Brittany Sullivan – Dental Assistant  Brittany  is one of our dental assistants who has been with our practice for over 5 years. She is very knowledgeable in assisting and does a great job comforting all of our patients. She has a 4 year old son, Braylen. Her hobbies are spending time with her family and reading a good book in front of the fireplace.

Ashley Kurpinski- Treatment / Financial Coordinator Ashley is one of our patient coordinators who has been with Lakes Family Dentistry for over 5 years. Ashley’s extensive knowledge in dental insurances and friendly personality helps our patients make the right choices when it comes to treatment plans. She has a 5 year old daughter. Ashley’s hobbies include jewelry, camping, and hiking.

Rita Pascua- Patient Coordinator  Rita is our second patient coordinator who has been with our practice since 2014. Rita makes each patient feel comfortable by recommending the right provider for them and making sure all accommodations are available for the scheduled appointments. She has been married for over 22 years and has two boys and three dogs.
